Trinity’s responsibility as a church is to use “Our Hands” to do “God’s Work”.

Since 1990 we have continued our mission outreach by supporting Dr. Mark and Linda Jacobson and their medical work in Arusha, Tanzania.  We also helped to finance and equip the new Selian Hospital built in Arusha.

We continue to support the annual Pope County Free Thanksgiving Meal held at the Minnewaska area High School on Thanksgiving day.  This activity has been a part of our church since the event was started in 1994. Follow the link above to learn more about this joyful occasion.

This year we participated for the first time in the “Feed My Starving Children” program with other churches in the community.  We participated in the packaging of food  and also have contributed financially to the program.

We also contribute monthly to the local food shelves in Pope and Stevens County.  Giving back from our own bounty to our local community provides food and supplies to those in need around us.

Every year since 1969 the Trinity women have put on a gala bazaar.  Held  the Saturday of MEA week-end at our local school in Cyrus, this event not only provides goods for sale, it also creates a great social “homecoming” event for people to meet and greet old and new friends.  Follow the link above to learn more about this gala event.

Beginning in 1999 a cast of more than 45 church members  has traveled around the local area presenting a program entitled “Godly Women out of History”.  Written and directed by Marcella Hansen, a member of the church, “Godly Women out of History” presents an inspirational and challenging program of spoken and sung word.  Follow the link above for more information about this stirring outreach program.

These activities represent some but not all of our efforts to use

“Our Hands” to do “God’s Work”.
