    SOLVING THE PEOPLE PUZZLE SEMINARHosted by Fist Baptist Church, Glenwood.  Pastor Tom and Lynnda Parker,  new pastor, are associate instructors for Walk Thru the Bible.  It is a two-day  seminar, Friday, March 12, 6:00-8:00p.m. and Saturday, March 13, 8:00 a.m. –12:00 noon.  The cost is only $17.00 per person that includes all materials, workbooks and refreshments.  The seminar includes:  Discover the unique strengths and weaknesses you bring to every relationship.  Gain a greater understanding of your own personal style and the style of others.  Learn to adapt your personal style to fulfill your God-given role in all your relationships.  Learn how to interact with others in a healthy Christian way in your church, home, job, and community.  To register or for more information, please call the church office (320)634-4344 or email secretary fbcglenwood@q.com


    FUND RAISING CONCERT, Hoffman Good Samaritan Society, Hoffman, Saturday, March 13th 2:00 p.m.  “You’ll Love It Concert”.  No admission, but a free will offering will be taken to raise money for a Karaoke machine for the activity department.  Come to hear wonderful music by residents, staff and friends of the facility.


    NEW WINE FUNDRAISER -  New Wine participants are selling butter braids to help earn money for their summer New Wine Tour.  The braids are frozen, thaw overnight and bake in the morning.  Makes a 9”x13” braid (approx).  Each braid sells for $9.50.  If interested please contact Renae Mullins, Katie Jergenson, Mitch Carbert or any New Wine singers before March 14th to place your order.  Thank you for your support.


    ST. PATRICKS DAY DINNER , Sunday, March 14th, at Assumption Catholic Church, Morris.  Serving 11:00 until gone.   Menu:  ham, potatoes, corn, coleslaw, bread, coffee, milk and angel food cake with strawberries.  Cost:  $7.00 for adults; $4.00 for ages 5-12; children under 4, free.

WOMEN’S CONFERENCE “LEAVING A LEGACY” March 12-13, Morris Evangelical Free Church.  Jeanine Murk’s Leaving a Legacy seminar encourages women to systematically recognize, organize, and record the wonderful things God does for them on a daily basis.  She takes an overwhelming task and breaks it down, making it an enjoyable and meaningful lifestyle so that what is really important in life is not forgotten but passed on to the next generation. This conference is for all women and teen girls.   Registration is $25.00, includes lunch. Please pre-register for a lunch count.    Bill Murk will present a concert/worship on Saturday evening 7:00-9:00 p.m.

POPE COUNTY MINISTERIAL RECITAL FOR FOOD SHELF – Sunday, March 14, 2:00 p.m.  at Fron Lutheran Church, Starbuck.  Area clergy share their love of music to raise funds for Pope County Food Shelf.  Free will offering of food or funds accepted.  Refreshments to follow in church parlors.

    PALM SUNDAY BRUNCH, at Messiah Lutheran Church sponsored by Good Samaritan Society Hoffman, Sunday, March 28th  10:00-1:00.  Belgian waffles, whipped cream, fruit topping, omelet, sausage patties, toast, juice, milk, coffee.  
Cost:  adults $7.00; children 5-12 $4.00.  Supplemental funds through Thrivent.

Items not needed are:  Tomato soup, spaghetti sauce, dry beans, canned pie mix, green beans, peas.
