WELCA MEETING TUESDAY NIGHT
The Women’s September General Meeting will be Tuesday, September 7th at 7:00 p.m. There will be election of officers. Martha/Mary Circle is in charge of the program and lunch.
CYRUS AREA SENIORS
The seniors meet in the Trinity Church basement monthly. The September meeting is on the first Tuesday, September 7th at 2:00 p.m. Dodie Johnsrud the Pope County Senior Coordinator will be there to answer any questions relating to senior citizen issues besides the topic of the day. This month representatives from Skyview Court and Plaza, Morris, will be talking on housing options for seniors. Lunch will be served.
WEST CENTRAL WORDALONE
The WordAlone Chapter will meet on Saturday, September 11th at St. John’s Lutheran Church, rural Starbuck. Coffee at 9:30, Program at 10:00. Report from the Lutheran Core Convention. Meetings open to all.

Grab bag items plus boxes of all kinds (shoe boxes, cereal boxes, etc) can be brought to the church. The bazaar is coming up on October 23rd so clean out those items that you can do without. Also LWR and Marie Sandvik clothing drive is the end of September.

FALL HARVEST FESTIVAL SUPPER
On September 15, 2010 Fron Lutheran Church of Starbuck will be serving a turkey dinner (with all the trimmings) from 5-7:30 p.m. Tickets: $9 for adults, $4 for children ages 6-10 and children 5 and under are free. Take out meals are available. Handicap accessible. Church office 239-2289. Supplemental funds have been applied for through Thrivent for Lutherans. All are welcome for great food and wonderful fellowship! Fron is located in the heart of Starbuck on Hagenson Street.

There will be a hog roast (also serving: beans, buns, scalloped potatoes, cole slaw, dessert, beverage, relishes) at Chippewa Falls Lutheran Church, Terrace, Sunday, September 19th. Serving from 11 until 1:30. Adults $8.00, 6-12 $4.00, 5 & under free. Craft and bake sale, too.

West Zion Lutheran Church of rural Hancock is serving a “Home Grown” Chicken Supper on Saturday, September 25, with serving from 4:30-8:00 p.m. The menu will include: Grilled Bar-B-Que or Plain Chicken, Baked Potatoes, Corn, Cole Slaw, Rolls, Dessert and Beverage. Admission is $8.00 for adults, $3.00 for children 6-12, and under 5 are admitted free. There will be many fantastic Silent Auction items to bid on. Handicapped accessible and take out meals are available.
